Meet Unauthorized!

Who We Are and What We're About.

CHRISTOPHER W. BARNES Book and Lyrics
RYAN MERCY Music

Barnes & Mercy are thrilled to be making their off-broadway debut with their company Unauthorized! at The PIT. Previous credits include the musicals Most Likely to Die and Just Like Magic, both of which were premiered at the New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF).  Future projects include Dirt Roads, Dan Smith Will Teach You to Play Guitar, The Rita Rocket Show! and Which One of You Bitches is My Mother.

In their off time, Ryan enjoys watching Chris attempt to ride a unicycle and Chris enjoys watching Ryan play Mario Galaxy. They are thrilled to be working with The PIT and Christine Pynn to produce the Unauthorized! series, and they can’t wait to find out what the audience votes that they get to write next!

MORGAN FERETTI Production Director, Company Member

Morgan sat in the audience of the PIT mainstage late one September evening watching That 80’s Time Travel Movie: The Unauthorized! Musical Parody and he thought to himself, “My God, I have to be involved with this show.” Now Morgan has weaseled his way into every show they’ve done, dreams do come true! Originally from Ohio (Go Buckeyes, Blue Jackets & Cavs!) he now resides in Astoria where he keeps his many cacti and bottles of Bulleit Bourbon.
